Newmann, Lottie (27 FEB 1951)

Gustave Becken and Mrs. Lottie Ihas Newmann, both of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage, Tuesday, Feb. 27th, 1951, at 6 o’clock p.m. in a candlelight ceremony performed by the Rev. O. K. Odland at the parsonage of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

They chose as their only attendants, Mr. and Mrs. E. Mowery, a sister of the groom.

After the ceremony the party journeyed to Medford where a delicious dinner was served by Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Harris, the latter a niece of the groom, at their home on North 2nd Street. The home was decorated for the occasion with a three-tiered wedding cake centering the dinning table.

The newlyweds will reside on the groom’s farm in the Town of Hoard.
